We understand that organizations working with a budget have concerns about travel costs.

Here's a breakdown of how Goodsides approaches travel expenses:

Local Travel (within a 2-hour radius of HQ or partner city)

  • For most local productions, travel expenses are minimal. We typically use three vehicles for crew and gear, and these costs are considered nominal (usually under $150 per day).

  • These local travel expenses are included within our fixed production fee.

Extended Travel (requiring overnight stays)

  • Productions that require our team to stay overnight in a location will incur additional travel costs for lodging and related expenses.

  • We will always provide a transparent cost breakdown, with travel expenses listed as a separate line item on your pricing sheet.

Keeping Costs Competitive

  • We are mindful of travel costs and their impact on your budget. Unless a project requires extensive travel (e.g., week-long documentary shoots in remote locations) travel expenses are unlikely to significantly impact the overall project cost.

Additional Notes

  • We're always happy to discuss specific travel requirements and provide a detailed estimate for your project.

  • If you have budget concerns about travel, reach out to us for a consultation. We can explore ways to potentially optimize logistics and keep costs down.

  • Further note that our post production bill rates can be reduced or discounted in some cases to balance out heavy travel cost burdens.
