When you see the following terms on our nationwide production network map (https://www.government.media/company/locations), here's what they mean:
Local crew: These are Goodsides professionals, working fully under our brand and insurance.
Local crew network: This indicates a city where we have a bench of qualified, pre-vetted video professionals. These individuals meet specific requirements (see a full list here: https://www.government.media/jobs/experienced-video-professionals-for-qualified-bench-position).
Traveling crew available: This means we don't have local crew or a crew network in this region, but we can still serve it. Since it might be further from major hubs, additional travel/planning might be needed in these cases.
Important Notes:
Even in "local crew network" areas, Goodsides may still use our own crew when it fits the project.
Our Crew Network is part of our plan to offer more opportunities to talented videographers AND serve buyers in new areas. We aim to keep costs down, similar to GPOs in healthcare or cooperatives (e.g., E&I) in education.
Are you a videographer? Here's why you should consider joining:
Find work without constant marketing: Get fresh opportunities sent your way, and you can always say "Yes" or "No" to a project.
Want to work in your area? If you're in a city without a Goodsides "G" and have over 50,000 residents (or are in an in-demand location like Key West), we want to hear from you!
Benefits for Buyers:
Our Crew Network model helps buyers find qualified professionals and potentially keeps costs lower than traditional production models.
