Q1. Do you have an RFP portal?

Please visit our secure RFP submission portal at government.media/rfp-submission-portal. You can upload attachments up to 10MB in PDF or DOC format.

Q2. What if we have urgency with our project?

We understand that some social impact projects require a rapid turnaround. We offer flexible timelines and can expedite our process for the right projects. For urgent requests, we can provide a "Quick Quote" document within the same day. This includes a brief project scope outline, estimated timeline, and ballpark budget to help you make informed decisions quickly.

Q3. Do you bid on any RFP, or does it need to be strictly video?

We can bid on a wide range of projects within our areas of expertise. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Outreach media

  • Engagement strategy

  • Managed marketing

  • Evergreen asset creation and design

  • Animation

  • Spatial and aerial video

Q4. We have an RFQ, does that count? Should we still share that even if there's no immediate project in mind?

Yes, absolutely! RFQs (Request for Qualifications) are a valuable way for us to showcase our capabilities and track potential opportunities. Even without an immediate project, sharing your RFQ helps us understand your needs and potentially tailor future proposals that directly address your priorities.

Q5. We noticed you're in Los Angeles and our RFP is for a project [insert city] elsewhere. Can you still handle this?

Yes! Our team includes experienced documentarians and storytellers who travel nationally. We focus on delivering high-quality productions through on-site filming and post-production at our headquarters. This model allows us to handle projects across the country effectively.

For example, we completed a successful multi-city project for 3fold (a prime contractor in the marketing space) where we were tasked with location scouting nine campuses spread out across hundreds of miles.

Q6. We want hourly rates, is that doable?

We can provide hourly rates along with full-day rates and fixed NTEs (Not-To-Exceed) options. We'll work with you to determine the most transparent and cost-effective pricing structure for your project's specific needs.

Additional RFP FAQ Considerations

Q7. Do you offer references from previous RFP projects?

We have several letters, points of contact (POCs), and can share video testimonials as well. Get in touch with us, so we know exactly which testimonial/reference might be the best fit.

Q8. Can you provide examples of successful RFP projects within our sector?

Goodsides has worked in the various social sectors since 2020. We have successful customer case studies at https://www.government.media/company/customers.

Q9. Do you have experience working with [specific government agency, funding source, etc.]?

We have worked within grant limits, worked on productions funded by a mixture of sources (like "friends of the library" type of entities), and straight from annual budgets. This includes community college projects, city projects, historic preservation departments, and more.

Q10. We want our RFP to be private and confidential. Is that something you handle?

We can absolutely keep your private RFP within our small estimating/quote-making team. Further, while it's rare, we have been on private RFP panels before and have worked within color-coded team evaluations at the enterprise level. Accommodations can be made.
